PRE WEDDING CONSULTATION
LET'S GET TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER A BIT BETTER...
The first consultation is all about getting to know each other and discovering the key elements of your wedding day—your personalities, themes, and timelines. Don’t worry if the details are still up in the air at this stage - it's completely normal for plans to evolve as the big day approaches. All I need is a rough outline to start envisioning how I’ll capture your wedding day in a way that reflects your unique story. Lets get a Zoom booked in or if you’re local, let’s grab a coffee instead! We’ll meet face to face, giving us the opportunity to connect and talk through your ideas. It's a relaxed and fun conversation to set the foundation for your wedding photography journey!

On your wedding day, I’ll connect with the best man, bridesmaids, and key family members to understand their personalities and role in your day, helping me capture some of the most meaningful moments. I’ll familiarise myself with your schedule, staying alert for any surprises and anticipating key moments. Whether I’m with you during getting ready, the ceremony, reception, or speeches, I’ll be flexible to fit with your plans. My goal is to stay ahead, capturing the intimate, fleeting moments that often go unnoticed but will mean the most when you look back at your wedding day.

I’ll set the scene, you’ve booked me as your photographer (thank you so much by the way!), it’s the morning of your wedding, what happens now?
Firstly, I’ll come find whichever room you’re getting ready in and just say Hi. There’s nothing worse than your photographer kicking down the door, bursting in cameras blazing first thing in the morning. Nerves will be high no matter what, so I’m there to make sure you’re calm, relaxed and, most importantly, having fun. That's what your wedding day is all about!
Once you’re happy, I’m happy, and thats when the photography begins; I’ll capture details, laughs, tears, the whole shebang throughout your day. Nothing is forced with me, otherwise it wont be natural and it just won’t be you!
Whilst I may advise on certain locations to shoot, I’m still all about taking photos that really show who you are as a couple so don't worry, there wont be a list of poses I have that I need to tick off. I also love to have a bit of fun myself, trying out new things and if that requires me hiding in the bushes or long grass, running round the otherside of a lake or vaulting a fence, I’m all up for it! Vice versa, if you have an idea of a photo that you want, tell me! I'm up for (almost) everything.
MORE THAN JUST A PHOTOGRAPHER
When you book me you’re not just getting a photographer, you’re getting a Dan! I hate the idea of just turning up, taking photos and leaving. Though that is my job, it comes second to just being myself. I will be more than just your photographer on your wedding day, I’ll hype you up, grab that drink, tie that tie and the list goes on. If there’s things you're worrying about, I will do everything (within reason) to get it fixed!
